Career Counselor and Career Journeys Lead Certified Professional Resume Writer
April Grossinger, a Nationally Certified Counselor and Certified Professional Résumé writer, has been practicing career counseling for over 20 years.
April served as a career counselor and later as the Associate Director of Women At Work and provided outplacement services at Jewish Vocational Services. She authored dozens of private foundation and public sector career service grants on behalf of both nonprofit organizations and served as the former editor of the California Career Development Association Newsletter. A passionate teacher and trainer, April served for eight years as a part-time adjunct graduate school lecturer in the Career Development Program at California State University, Northridge where she earned her M.S. in Career Development. She has written and conducted extensive corporate career service training sessions at organizations including: Kaiser Permanente, Southern California Edison and Bank of America. April has written undergraduate curriculum in career guidance at the University of Southern California (USC) and now brings her love of writing to co-creating with clients, effective and personalized resumes, CVs, Bios and social media profiles as a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW).
April is most gratified coaching men and women to perform their best on job interviews, to negotiate starting salaries and raises and by empowering individuals to identify and fulfill their deepest career aspirations.
